Last week Lego released the web page for the product “Galaxy Squad” yet another “space fighter” Lego theme we’ve seen in the last couple years. It consists of five sets at the moment, however none of these seem to be a “hundred dollar” set the series usually have in the first (or only) wave of sets they have (however, the “Bug Obliterator” I have pulled up here might fit that bill). One thing I find very peculiar is that once the Lego Cuusoo project “Space Marines” got to 10,000 supporters they pulled this out of the hat. I think it’s obvious that Lego is listening to fans on Cuusoo.
Overall I think Galaxy Squad is just another space aliens vs. good guys things Lego has put out there for a short period of time. However, I think this set is interesting because you can use it as a tank, a bigger aircraft, or two separate things as they have it here.
